Stories of the Past Visions of the Future

About the Production

From Massa to the Metaverse is an ongoing series initially conceptualised by our producer Nadine Jack and developed by our Every Bit Digital team, to not just tell the stories of our ancestors, but also uplift the echoes of those unheard voices while amplifying the promising potential of our Bajan youth.

Our goal here is to utilise the foundations that our fore parents built throughout centuries of slavery and oppression, to now INFORM, INSPIRE and ELEVATE our future generations.

We don’t dwell in our past but are focused instead on proactively highlighting and cultivating our current accomplishments and future plans for FinTech, STEM and Creativity

Our intent for this series is that it becomes a catalyst for future generations to dismantle outdated systems and defeatist mentalities, through their positive disruption and ever-evolving innovation.

We cannot know where we are going until we honour how far we have come, and our dream for the future of this nation is that the lessons learned from our complex past, can now become the blueprint for our island’s limitless future.

Join us on this journey as we take Barbados ‘From Massa to the Metaverse’.
